Jag's Mise En Place Employee Scholarship Program
Chef Michelle, chef proprietor of Jag's Steak & Seafood, has established a scholarship program for employees of the restaurant who are seeking to further their education.
Mise-en-Place, a French expression for "putting in place", is a philosophy followed by kitchens to refer to the organization and preparation of all the ingredients for service. We believe a person can't be successful unless they have prepared themselves to do so. This scholarship is for that special person who has followed this philosophy and has had everything in the right place over the years from a proper attitude, a hard work ethic, and the utmost professionalism.
- Must have worked at Jag's for 2+ years
- This scholarship is only available for hourly employees
- Plan to attend a college/university, trade school, or certification class
- The amount of this scholarship is dependent on the tuition for your chosen program, up to $3000, and is renewable for 2 years.
