Lakota Robotics seeks funding for Cincy tournament
FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global robotics community preparing young people for the future. FIRST inspires young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.
FIRST Ohio provides competitive opportunities to over 100 High School FIRST Robotics Competition Teams with plans to deliver two (2) Regional Events (Cincinnati and Cleveland) next year as well as holding off season events and supporting teams to keep the learning and fun going year-round. Approximately 5000 participants and spectators will attend the action-packed, fast-paced, fun-filled competitions scheduled for March 2023. During the FIRST® ENERGIZESM season presented by Qualcomm, FIRST teams will reimagine the future of sustainable energy and power their ideas forward.
