Shamrock Shuffle Registration Now Open
The 9th Annual Shamrock Shuffle, hosted by The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty, will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at The Square at Union Centre. Along with a timed 5k and 10k, the Shamrock Shuffle offers a family-friendly 5k Main Event with a later start time, Children’s Leprechaun Lap, Breakfast and Block Party… all with a purpose of bringing people together to have fun and support the community. Last year the event attracted more than 5,000 participants and raised more than $88,000.
Proceeds from the event support the Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty’s Community Grants Fund, as well as, the many different charity organizations who register a team through the Shuffle Gives Back program. Shuffle Gives Back allows non-profit organizations to register a team to raise money for their cause, without having to collect pledges from friends and family. Teams receive a $250.00 grant for the first 25 people who register on their team and $10.00 for each additional person. In 2014, Shuffle Gives Back granted more than $25,000 to participating charity teams.
