The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty is pleased to announce Cincinnati Bengal’s head coach, Marvin Lewis, as keynote speaker at the 2nd annual Leadership Through Philanthropy event scheduled for Thursday, April 26th at the Marriott Cincinnati North in West Chester.

“We are thrilled to have Coach Lewis join us, and share about his work with the Marvin Lewis Community Fund and its impact in Greater Cincinnati,” said Foundation President & CEO, Erin Clemons.

The mission of the Marvin Lewis Community Fund is to empower youth education. Established in 2003, the Fund has raised more than $11.3M to fund programs and events that impact thousands of kids each year.

Education was identified as a key area of focus in the CFWCL’s 2017 Community Needs Assessment.

“As we are shifting our focus toward education initiatives in West Chester/Liberty this is a great opportunity to highlight the success the Marvin Lewis Community Fund has had in the area of education,” said Clemons.

Marvin Lewis has led the Cincinnati Bengal’s as head coach for 15 seasons. He holds the record for most wins in Bengal’s coaching history, and has led the team to the playoffs in 4 straight seasons. In addition to his coaching success, he has led the franchise to strengthen ties to the Cincinnati community.
