Golf Classic: Play for a Purpose
The 16th Annual Community Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, August 3rd at Wetherington Golf & Country Club and Four Bridges Golf & Country Club.

Proceeds raised at the Golf Classic benefit the Community Foundation’s Community Grants Fund and provide operational support for the organization. Perhaps more importantly, the event itself fulfills our mission to encourage philanthropy by bringing the community together in support of a common cause. Last year, the Community Golf Classic raised more than $75,000 thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants. Because of the overwhelming success of this and our other fundraising events, The Key Event and Shamrock Shuffle, the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors awarded $200,000 from the Community Grants Fund to support the work of nonprofit organizations serving West Chester and Liberty Township.
